Unlike most of the rest of these posts, I’m going to keep this one brief. I am 34 years old. I have lived most of my life as a grown-up child. Only recently, when I met the woman I knew I was going to marry, and, months later, when we learned that we were going to have a child together, did I realize why people who still have a choice choose to grow up… You grow up when your life becomes about more than just you. It’s taken me 34 years. If I have to, I’ll spend the next 34 trying to figure out “why?”
